  • Is an Iron Door Worth it?
    Of course! Not only do they add uniqueness to your home, but they increase the perceived value of the home.   • Is an Iron Door Better than a Steel Door?
    Iron doors are extremely durable. They provide a better resistance to corrosion than steel doors. Iron doors also offer many more design opportunities than steel doors. On top of that they increase the perceived value and look of your home.
  • Do Iron Doors Rust?
    Iron Empire Doors do not rust easily, in fact if you maintain your door you will never see rust. Simply cleaning your door once a month, can prevent rust. During the manufacture process, we use five coats of epoxy paint, and dip the door in galvanized zinc to prevent your door from rusting, and increase the longevity of it.
  • How do I Maintain my Iron Door?
    Simply giving you door a cleaning once a month, with an alchohol based or multi purpose cleaner, will prevent rust, and keep your door looking new. Also applying grease to the built in grease zerks on the ball bearing hinges, will keep your door opening smooth and quiet.
  • Are Iron Doors Safe?
    With iron doors, home safety is increased greatly, due to their durability and strength they can protect your home from debris and unwanted visitors better than traditional entry doors.
